Updated: Nov 6

As part of its annual meeting, the Friends of the Mary Cotton Public Library will host author Rosie Bosse at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Mary Cotton Public Library meeting room. Members of the community are invited to attend this free program. There will be a short business meeting followed by the speaker. Light refreshments will be provided.

About the Author

Rosie Bosse is a Kansas author who has penned three children’s books series, “Down on the Farm Series,“ “Curly Series” and “Curious Creatures Series,”  as well as other children’s books. Additionally, she has published historical western novels, including the “Home on the Range Series.”

Bosse is a wife, mother and grandmother. She was raised on a farm in north central Kansas where she fed bucket calves, rode horses and milked cows. Bosse and her husband,  JR, live on a ranch in northeast Kansas where cattle are their livelihood. She treasures her rural heritage and is excited to share that life with others. Although her books are fictional, each one will have a thread of truth as Bosse weaves her experiences of “growing up country” and even a little history into her stories.
